SUKHAM 100

SUstainable Knowledge for Healthy And Meaningful-living

A BK Medical Wing initiative for sustained youth engagement in healthy, meaningful and positive living, implemented within the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat framework of MY Bharat and adapted as a flexible 100-week programme for BK Centres.

100 Weeks · 25 Months · 4 Pillars

What is SUKHAM 100?

SUKHAM 100 translates the national 100-week journey into a practical, health-and-wellbeing-oriented programme for BK Medical Wing implementation. Its central purpose is healthy and meaningful living, while Nasha Mukt remains the continuous protective context.

The programme is designed for sustained engagement rather than a one-time event. Each month follows a theme, and each four-week cycle moves participants from learning to experience, community action and continuing commitment.

The Four Pillars

PREVENT

Build resilient youth through health awareness, life skills, fitness, creativity, positive alternatives and supportive environments.

PROTECT

Strengthen protective communities through wellbeing, early help, family and peer support, safe digital and physical environments.

RECOVER

Promote inclusion, compassion, purpose, service and supportive pathways so that no young person is left behind.

LEAD

Develop young people as health, wellbeing and Nasha Mukt champions who contribute positively to their communities.

What happens every month?

Week 1 · LEARNKnow yourself, understand the issue and discover the healthy alternative.

Week 2 · EXPERIENCEExperience the healthy alternative through practical and participatory activities.

Week 3 · COMMUNITY ACTIONTake learning into the family and community through youth-led action.

Week 4 · CELEBRATE & COMMITCelebrate, share outcomes and turn learning into continuing commitment.

The 100-Week Journey

The programme is structured as 100 weeks across 25 months, with 25 monthly themes. Each centre may conduct the designated activity on any convenient day within its assigned programme week. The SUKHAM implementation framework uses the first 24 months for substantive thematic interventions — 96 weeks — followed by Month 25 for the movement’s celebration and recognition.

The journey progresses through four broad phases: Prevent – Building Resilient Youth; Protect – Building Protective Communities; Recover – No Youth to be Left Behind; and Lead – Every Youth a Changemaker.
